US Robotics wanted to celebrate their 30th year with an EMEA customer event and they certainly did it with style in Lisbon.

Over 100 attendees were invited to the Hotel Palacio Estoril from around the world including Dubai, USA, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Warsaw, Moscow, Prague, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria and Poland.

Daytime activities included an event called 'The Soapbox Challenge' where guests and hosts formed teams. Their objective was to build the most colourful, safest and fastest possible Soapbox Car in the time provided. Each team had to win their car parts by achieving 8 mental and physical challenges in the surrounding woodlands.

After a fun packed afternoon, guests continued the celebrations with a Gala Evening at Colares Winery. Branded birthday balloons enhanced the stunning setting where the superb dinner ended with champagne and a giant birthday cake.

From arrival at Colares onwards, Brazilian carnival dancers provided colourful and lively entertainment with a jazz samba band in support. After a carnival finale with everyone up dancing, the mood changed to disco until the reluctant departure back to Estoril
