Over 7,000 UK and Irish dealers recorded Compaq product sales on the Spirit website, to win instant prizes plus a chance of qualifying for the Adventure of a Lifetime.

Theming, launch, promotion and reward deliveries were all highly sophisticated, led by a state-of-the-art website incorporating an electronic scratchcard 'instant-win' technique - the first ever delivered on a website platform. 

Instant Win prizes included the choice of over 600 UK-based activities, plus state-of-the-art Kodak Advantix cameras to record the 'Adventures'.

Top achievers travelled to deepest Africa for wildlife safaris, BBQ dinners in the bush and by the Zambezi, and helicopter sightseeing over the spectacular Victoria Falls. During their stay, each designed their very own Adventure from a range of over 20 activity options including bungee-jumping, overnight canoe safaris, elephant-back safaris, microlight flights and white-water rafting. 

Seventy different itineraries were planned, booked and communicated overnight - and faultlessly delivered the very next day!

Compaq gained record sales, as well as establishing the 'Spirit' promotional brand and building use of their website throughout their dealer network.

The campaign swept the I.T.M.A. awards with three gold Romeo's, and was also highly commended by the ISP for innovative promotional techniques
